Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days or 4% to start, 10 days or 4% after 1 year, 15 days or 6% after 3 years, 20 days or 8% after 6 years, 25 days or 10% after 15 years. Overtime: Time and one-half after 7.5 hours per day or 37.5 hours per week. May be taken as time off in lieu. Meal allowance: Employees will be provided with free meal after each 4 hours of overtime. Medical benefits: Employer pays 70% (previously 60%) of premiums, employee pays 30% of premiums for benefit service plan, administered by CLAC Health and Welfare Trust Fund. Dental: Basic services: 80%, maximum $2,000 per person per year. Comprehensive: 50%, maximum $2,000 per person per year. Orthodontic: 50%, maximum $3,000 lifetime maximum per child under 19. Vision: $300 per year for dependants younger than 21; $300 every 2 years for dependants older than 21. Sick leave: 7.5 hours per month of service, maximum 12 days or 90 hours. Employees who have, at end of year, used less than 1 full day of sick-leave credits will be paid out 3 full days or 22.5 hours of remaining sick-leave credits. LTD: 60% of earnings, maximum $1,500 per month, payable after 119 days. AD&D: Coverage of $50,000. Life insurance: Coverage of $50,000. Pension: Employees may choose to submit 1% to 5% into CLAC pension plan, which will be matched by employer, maximum 5%. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, common- law spouse, child, son-in-law, daughter-in-law. 3 days for death of parent, brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild, guardian. Includes all relatives of spouse. Additional 2 days for travel more than 320 kilometres. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours' pay at time and one-half regular rate or actual number of hours worked at time and one-half regular rate, whichever is greater. Probationary period: 450 hours worked. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for letters of warning; 24 months for suspensions.
