Instead, the trailer remained parked beside a fence, which was in a fire route and was against company regulations. It was eventually discov- ered, unsecured, by a traffic control officer shortly after midnight on Oct. 3. When Joubarne was asked about the trailer by superintendent Jean Levengneux, he said he in- formed supervisor Donatus Nnorom or another one identified as "Ange" about the missing trailer.
