The Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA) provided surgical pathology ser- vices to the eastern region of On- tario. Under EORLA's collective agreement, new hires must com- plete a probationary period of 675 hours. Staff received annual training on the code of conduct and dealing with residents with dementia. One particular resident was a male with demen- tia who had a tendency to sexually touch female staff and other residents.
