Employees may carry forward 2 weeks of accrued va- cation into following year. Any unused credits beyond 2 weeks will be paid out by January 31. Paramedical: $600 per prac- titioner for massage therapist, physiotherapist, chiropractor. $800 for psychologist. Sick leave: 11.07 hours per 168 hours of work, maximum 930 hours. AD&D: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums (previously em- ployer paid 70% of premiums, employee paid 30% of premi- ums) for coverage of $25,000. Life insurance: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums (previ- ously employer paid 70% of premiums, employee paid 30% of premiums) for coverage of $25,000. Pension: Employer contributes $30 (previously $25), employe contributes $30 (previously $25), to voluntary group RRSP. $40 after 5 years or service; $45 after 10 years of service Bereavement leave: Maximum 3 days for death of spouse, com- mon-law spouse, fiancé, legal guardian, child, parent, spouse s parent, stepparent, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, niece, nephew, stepchild, aunt, uncle, grandfather, grand- mother, grandchild. Additional 2 days if employee is required to travel more than 300 kilometres 1-way to attend funeral. Leave may be extended additional 2 days where extenuating circum- stances warrant. 1 day to attend funeral of close friend, relative not listed. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months for layoffs. Probationary period: 500 hours worked (6 months for part-time, casual employees). May be extended additional 500 hours worked, Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for discipline excluding suspensions; 24 months for dis- cipline involving suspensions. Severance: 2 weeks per full year of employment, maximum 16 weeks of pay.
