or additional responsibilities above utility worker duties, employee will receive ground person rate of pay. 5% when employee who is temporarily assigned to job which is outside scope of agreement. 1 hour of extra pay for employees work- ing Saturday, Sunday shifts. $1.14 per hour shift differential for all hours worked between 3 p.m. and 7 a.m. for employees working straight or rotating shifts on full-time basis; $1.95 per hour shift differential for all hours worked between 3 p.m. and 7 a.m. for employees who are temporarily scheduled to work shift work. $2 per hour for employee who works in 30.5-metre aerial device. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 3 weeks or 120 hours to start, 4 weeks or 160 hours after 8 years, 5 weeks or 200 hours after 17 years, 6 weeks or 240 hours after 25 years, 7 weeks or 280 hours after 30 years. Employees may elect to be paid out maximum 50% of total banked vacation once per calendar year. Overtime: Paid at double time. Meal allowance: One-half hour paid lunch break after 2 hours of overtime and each subsequent 4 hours of overtime worked thereafter. Time may be banked, maximum 160 hours. Pension: ENMAX pension plan. Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate fam- ily (parent, sibling, spouse, common-law spouse, child, parent-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandparent (in- cluding spouse's), grandchild, guardian, steprelatives at same levels, dependent relative liv- ing in employee's household). Maximum 3 additional days for extended travel. Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours of pay at double time or hours worked at double time, which- ever is greater; minimum 3 hours of pay at double time if employee is called out for work between midnight and begin- ning of employee's regularly scheduled day shift. Probationary period: 6 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months for documents rela- tive to discipline, counseling or grievances. Severance: 2 weeks' pay for each year of service to start; 2.5 weeks' pay for each year of ser- vice, maximum 52 weeks. Safety shoes: $250 per year or $500 every 2 two years, which includes purchase or repair of CSA-approved footwear for routine-exposure employees (those who spend 50% or more time in field); $75 per year or $300 every 4 two years, which includes purchase or repair of CSA-approved footwear for non-routine-exposure employ- ees (those who spend 50% or less time in field). Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide safety belts (body and pole), spurs, protective headgear (linings), leather work gloves, rubber gloves or mitts and bag, leather protectors for rubber gloves or mitts, rain- wear, rubber boots, goggles. Employer will provide protec- tive/flame-resistant clothing for employees who work on underground cable crews, in transformer room crews, on painting crews, on station crews (oil work); will provide temporary issue on dirty jobs. Tool allowance: Personal tools, when worn out or dam- aged on job, will be repaired or replaced by employer.
