Meal allowance: $15 meal credit for employee working 3 hours of overtime. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Prairie Teamsters Health and Welfare Plan, after 90 calen- dar days from date of employ- ment. Sick leave: 3.07% of employ- ee's regular hours worked for equivalent of 8 sick days per year. Pension: Employer will pay $1.06 per hour (previously $1.01 per hour) into Prairie Teamsters Pension Plan. Ef- fective April 1, 2021: $1.11 per hour. Effective April 1, 2022: $1.16 per hour. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (mother, father, spouse, com- mon-law spouse, children, sister, brother , mother-in- law, father-in-law, brother-in- law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, stepchildren, stepparents, grandchildren, grandparents, any relative of employee who resides with employee.) Additional 7 days, without pay, may be given to attend funeral outside of 700-kilometre radius from employee's normal work lo- cation. 5 days, without pay, for death of family member not covered. Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours' pay at applicable over- time rate of pay. Probationary period: 75 calendar days (period will be extended by equivalent number of calendar days of any absence by employee). Employee will be required to successfully com- plete screening-officer training and obtain level 3 CATSA cer- tification. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for any disciplinary record. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply all uniforms. Sample rates of hourly pay (current): Screening officer Hours of service Level 1: $21.47 Level 2: $22.75 Level 3.1 (0 to 2,080): $24.02 Level 3.2 (2,081 to 4,160): $24.45 Level 3.3 (4,161 to 6,240): $24.91 Level 3.4 (6,241 +): $25.33 TL premium rate: $28.50 Lump-sum payment of $400 for full-time employees, $200 for part-time and casual employ- ees, 30 days after ratification date. Another lump-sum payment of $400 for full-time employees, $200 for part-time and casual employees will be paid on April 1, 2020. Editor's notes: Inoculations: Employer will reimburse $25 per year for flu shot and hepatitis vaccinations. Extra skills: If employer requires employee to take first-aid course, or course of any other type, actual time spent will be deemed to be work time, and will be paid at straight-time rate of pay. Parking allowance: Employer will pay 100% of cost of staff parking for em- ployees at Grande Prairie Airport with service date prior to Jan. 1, 2016. For employees hired Jan. 1, 2016 or later, employer will pay 50% of cost of staff parking. Maintenance and administration employees re- ceive $0.85 per hour for hours between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m.; $1 per hour for hours between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. (previously $0.85 per hour). Time and one- quarter for work performed on Sunday. $2 per hour for em- ployees temporarily replacing foremen or inspectors. $1 per hour for employees appointed to be crew leaders. $2 per hour for inspectors working as act- ing superintendent. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks plus 2 days after 1 year, 3 weeks plus 2 days after 2 years, 4 weeks plus 2 days after 6 years, 4 weeks plus 4 days after 9 years, 5 weeks plus 2 days after 13 years, 5 weeks plus 3 days af- ter 16 years, 5 weeks plus 4 days after 18 years, 6 weeks after 19 years, 6 weeks plus 1 day after 20 years, 6 weeks plus 2 days af- ter 23 years, 7 weeks plus 2 days after 26 years, 8 weeks after 30 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for work performed after 8 hours daily or 40 hours per week; all hours worked on holiday. Pro- bationary employees have 26 weeks at 66 2/3% of pay; 1 year of service gets 2 weeks of full pay with balance at 66 2/3%; up to 25 years of service gets 26 weeks at full pay. LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums income protection plan of 66 2/3% of earnings af- ter 26 weeks. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Pension: Combined contribu- tions equal to 7.5% of employ- ee's earnings. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at overtime rate for maintenance/administration employees called in. Operators required to report to cover runs of absentees or in anticipation of extra service will receive minimum of 2 hours' pay at straight time rate if no work available. Operators operat- ing extra, charter, unassigned runs will receive minimum of 2 hours' pay at straight time. Probationary period: 9 calen- dar months. Safety shoes: $110 per year for administrative employees re- quired to wear CSA-approved footwear. Uniforms/clothing: Each uniformed employee receives following upon start of em- ployment: 3 shirts, 2 pants, 2 ties, 1 parka, 1 baseball cap, 1 toque, 1 sweater.
