Vacations with pay: 1 3/4 days per month to start, 2 1/6 days per month after 8 years, 2 7/12 days per month after 15 years, 3 days per month after 26 years. 5 additional days, 1-time, will be given after 25 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 44 hours per week. Employees may receive compensating leave in lieu of overtime pay. Compensating leave accumulated in calendar year which is not used before March 31 of following year, will be paid on lump-sum basis at rate it was earned. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Coverage of 85% of cost of basic dental services, endodontic ser- vices, periodontic services, repair or maintenance ser- vices for existing dentures or bridges; 50% of cost of new dentures. Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $340 per person every 24 months. Paramedical: $25 per visit (previously $35 per visit) for each visit for each type of ser- vice, maximum $1,200 per year, for legally licensed chiroprac- tor, osteopath, chiropodist, podiatrist, naturopath, mas- seur, physiotherapist. $25 per half hour (previously $40 per half hour) , maximum $1,400 per year, for services of speech therapist. $40 per half hour (previously $25 per half hour) for psychologist. Sick leave: 1.25 days per month. STD: Coverage of regular sal- ary for first 6 days, 75% for ad- ditional 124 working days. LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 66 2/3% of regular salary. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 100% of annual salary of em- ployee (minimum $10,000 for full-time employee; $5,000 for part-time employee). Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of spouse, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son, daughter, brother, sister, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, stepmother, step- father, stepson, stepdaughter, stepgrandparent, stepgrand- child, ward, guardian, former ward, former guardian. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew. 2 additional days, without pay, to attend funeral if located more than 800 ki- lometres from employee's residence. Seniority – recall rights: 24 months after layoffs; 1 school year for educational leave; 1 year for care of dependent person. Probationary period: 9 months (period may be extend- ed up to total of 12 months). Discipline: Sunset clause is 3 years for letter of counsel, let- ter of reprimand, suspension, other sanction. Safety shoes: Purchase of safety shoes, boots for on- the-job protection will be subsidized as per practice in each ministry. Uniforms/clothing: Employ- er will provide safety equip- ment and protective clothing. Mileage: $0.40 per kilometre for 0 to 4,000 kilometres; $0.35 per kilometre for 4,001 to 10,700 kilometres; $0.29 per kilometre for 10,701 to 24,000 kilometres; $0.24 per kilome- tre for more than 24,000 kilo- metres for southern Ontario. $0.41 per kilometre for 0 to 4,000 kilometres; $0.36 per kilometre for 4,001 to 10,700 kilometres; $0.30 per kilome- tre for 10,701 to 24,000 kilo- metres; $0.25 per kilometre for more than 24,000 kilometres for northern Ontario.
