pay. Vacations with pay: Employ- ees will be entitled to vacation period of 40 working days (for employees not appointed Aug. 1, time will be prorated on basis of first appointment year). Ses- sional employees will receive 4.5% of salary in lieu of vaca- tion, to be paid on termination of contract. During winter se- mester of each university year, all employees will receive 2-day mid-term break. Employee may carry over portion of annual vacation, maximum 15 working days for use in following year. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for basic medical insurance under British Columbia Medical Plan Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for 100% of plan A and 70% of plan B. Sick leave: Coverage of 100% pay for first 30 calendar days of illness. Upon termination of employment of employee with more than 10 years of continu- ous service, cash payment in lieu of accumulated sick leave will be given, maximum 60 days.
