Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after regular hours. May be taken as time off in lieu of pay, no later than 30 days af- ter time worked. Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employ- ee pays 50% of premiums. Sick leave: 2 days per month of service, maximum 320 days during any consecutive 20-year period of service, maximum 240 days for employee hired after May 4, 2004. Pension: Employer will provide either government pension plan or government money-pur- chase plan. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of mother, father, brother, sister, child, spouse, common-law spouse, chil- dren of common-law spouse, legal guardian, grandmother, grandfather, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchild, step- father, stepmother, stepchild, near relative living in same household. 1 day for death of sister-in-law, brother-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law. Additional 2 days when death occurs outside province. Addi- tional 2 days where extraordin- ary circumstances prevail. Seniority – recall rights: 2 years. Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours' pay. Probationary period: 120 days of work. Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months. Severance: After 1 year of ser- vice, number of years of service, multiplied by weekly salary, maximum 20 week's pay.
