Ratified on March 10, 2018. Signed on June 22, 2018. Wage adjustments: Effective May 16, 2018: 1% Effective May 16, 2019: 2% Effective May 16, 2020: 2.5% Shift premium: $1.90 per hour for all work on Saturday. $2.30 per hour for all work on Sun- day. $1.10 per hour for all night hours worked (after 4 p.m. and before 6 a.m. following day). $1.30 per hour for lead-hand. Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 day before New Year's or Christmas, of employee's choosing. 1 additional floater day. Merchandise-department employees may choose to take neither and will receive an extra floater day. Vacations with pay: 80 hours or 4% after 1 year, 120 hours or 6% after 3 years, 160 hours or 8% after 10 years, 200 hours or 10% after 20 years, 240 hours or 12% after 30 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 7.5 hours per day (office employees) or 8 hours per day (all other employ- ees). Double time after 4 hours of overtime. Time and one-half for all work on Saturday, double time for all work on Sunday (other than those regularly scheduled to work on Saturday or Sunday). For employees regularly scheduled to work on Saturday or Sunday, time and one-half for all work on first scheduled day off, double time for all work on second sched- uled day off. May be banked, maximum 40 hours, minimum unit of banked overtime to be used is 40 regular hours. Medical benefits: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care Plan. Dental: Employer will pay 100% of premiums. $1,500 per year maximum routine/major treat- ment benefit per individual. $2,500 per child maximum orthodontic treatment. 100% reimbursement for routine- treatment expenses. 80% reim- bursement for major-treatment expenses. Vision: $250 maximum reim- bursement per family member in each 24-month period (reim- bursed at 80%). Weekly indemnity: Employer will pay 100% of premiums. Sick leave: 6 days per year. LTD: Employer will pay 100% of premiums. Life insurance: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for cov- erage of $55,000 (previously $45,000). Pension: Employees' Retire- ment Plan of Coca-Cola Re- freshments Canada Company. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of wife, husband, child, father, mother, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law. 1 day for death of grandmother, grandfather, grandparents-in- law, brother-in-law, sister-in- law, daughter-in-law, son-in- law. Will include steprelatives, common-law spouses, same- sex partners. 2 additional days for travel more than 350 kilo- metres away from Edmonton. Seniority – recall rights: 18 months or period equal to one- half of employee's seniority, maximum 3 years, whichever time is greater. Call-in pay: One-half times employee's hourly rate or 4 hours' work at employee's hour- ly rate, whichever is greater. Probationary period: 520 hours of work within 6 con- secutive months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months or 2 years. Safety shoes: $185 per year (previously $175 per year) from suppliers authorized by em- ployer. Boots must be CSA-ap- proved, have puncture-resistant soles and meet employer safety- footwear policy and guidelines. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide standard work clothing based on job grouping. Tool allowance: Any tools which are provided by employ- ee will — if worn out or broken and not covered by manufac- turer's warranty or if stolen — be replaced by employer with tools of similar quality. On-call: $7 for each hour employee is scheduled to be on-call. Employee will be paid at time and one-half for all time worked during on-call period, if minimum payment for time worked is equal to 4 times em- ployee's regular hourly rate. Overnight stays: $75 for meals for each overnight for employee who stays out-of-town on overnight stays. Long-service leave: Employee who completes 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th or 45th year of service will qualify for special long-service leave of 2 weeks. Long-service leave: Employee who completes 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th or 45th year will qualify for 2 weeks of leave.
