(650 mining production employees) and the United Steelworkers (USW), Local 7106 Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2020. Signed on Jan. 1, 2018. Shift premium: $0.45 per hour for afternoon shift (starting be- tween noon and 6 p.m.). $0.50 per hour for night shift (starting between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.). $0.50 per hour for graveyard shift (starting between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.). $1 per hour for each straight-time hour worked on Saturday or Sunday. $2.50 per hour for employee cov- ered in CBA, working in Snow Lake and not living in subsid- ized-company accommodation. $2 per hour (previously $1 per hour) northern-travel benefit for all employees. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 10 days after 1 year, 11 days after 2 years, 12 days after 3 years, 13 days after 4 years, 15 days after 5 years, 16 days after 7 years, 17 days after 9 years, 18 days after 11 years, 19 days after 13 years, 21 days after 15 years, 22 days after 20 years, 23 days after 21 years, 24 days after 22 years, 25 days after 23 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week or on first and subsequent days of rest. Meal allowance: For unsched- uled overtime, meal or $15 (previously $10), after 3 hours of overtime. Medical benefits: Employer will pay 100% of premiums to provide health-plan benefits. Dental: Employer will pay 100% of costs for basic services (diagnostic services, prevent- ive services, restorative ser- vices, simple extractions and prosthetic services (repair of damaged dentures) and routine examinations as frequently as every 6 months). Employer will pay 60% of costs for inter- mediate services, endodontic services, periodontal servi- ces, prosthodontic services (removable), prosthodontic services - fixed (bridges), oral surgery. Combined maximum $2,250 per person, per year. 50% coverage for orthodontic services for dependent children, lifetime maximum $5,000 per dependent child. 1 return bus fare will be paid to employee and registered dependants for out-of-town orthodontic servi- ces, maximum 5 trips per family per year, within Manitoba or Saskatchewan. Vision: $300 per member every 24 months. Employer will pay for eye-examination fee every 24 months. Paramedical: $250 per year per family on 50% coverage basis for services used (includes chiropractic, orthotics, regis- tered massage therapy, physio- therapy). AD&D: Coverage of $45,000. Life insurance: Coverage of $45,000. Pension: Employees will re- ceive benefits of non-contribu- tory pension plan. Bereavement leave: 10 days for death of spouse, son, daugh- ter. 3 days for death of mother, father, sister, brother, mother- in-law, father-in-law, sister-in- law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandmother, grandfather, spouse's grand- mother, spouse's grandfather, grandchild, any relative residing in employee's household. 2 additional days if employee at- tends funeral outside of Mani- toba or Saskatchewan. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at overtime rates, plus 1 hour. If call-in occurs between mid- night and 4 a.m., additional payment of $50 will be given. If employee uses own vehicle to outlying mines, $0.40 per kilo- metre will be paid. Probationary period: 480 hours worked (including over- time hours worked). Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for non-punitive disci- pline. Severance: 1 week's pay per year of service. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide partial or full reim- bursement for damage to cloth- ing where damage arises while employee of service department is assigned to plant for tempor- ary duty. Tool allowance: Personal tools broken in service or lost in inaccessible places will be re- placed by tools of equal value by employer.
