Paid holidays: 10 days. Vacations with pay: 10 days af- ter 1 year, 15 days after 3 years, 20 days after 7 years, 25 days after 14 years, 30 days after 22 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Double time for all work on statutory holidays. May be taken as time off in lieu, maximum 60 hours. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan and extended healt-care plan (Alberta Blue Cross - least cost alternative plan). Employer will provide $300 per year for health spending account. Dental: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. Sick leave: 1 day per month of service, maximum 120 days accumulation. Employees who do not use more than 3 days leave per year will receive $25 gift certificate. Upon retire- ment, employees will receive 25% pay-out of accumulated sick days after 10 years of ser- vice. LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. AD&D: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. Life insurance: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. Pension: Employees will, as condition of employment, par- ticipate in Local Authorities Pension Plan Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, parent, child, spouse's child. 3 days for death of broth- er, sister, parent-in-law, sister- in-law, brother-in-law, grand- parent, grandchild. Additional 2 days when funeral is outside of province. One-half day to employees attending funeral as pallbearer. Seniority – recall rights: 90 days after layoff; 2 years after being on LTD or worker's com- pensation benefits. Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours' pay at overtime rate or pay for all hours worked at overtime rate, whichever is greater. Will be paid from time employee leaves home to report for duty until employee arrives back home. Probationary period: 6 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months. Severance: 1 week's pay for each year of service, maximum 10 weeks. Safety shoes: $250 per year for work clothing or CSA-approved safety boots. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide hard hats, rubber boots, rainwear, gloves as re- quired. Tool allowance: $50 per month to mechanic who supplies own hand tools. $25 per month to mechanic's helper who supplies own hand tools. $10 per month to plumbers, electricians who supply own hand tools. After of service, winter bonus is applicable when all or part of vacation is taken during winter-bonus period, between Jan. 5 and April 30 and between Oct. 15 and Dec. 20 of same va- cation year. Overtime: Time and one-half for all extra hours or work on scheduled days off. Double time for all work between midnight and 7 a.m.; between 7 a.m. and midnight on Sunday; after 4 hours of overtime; after 12 hours in 24-hour period. Time may be banked, maximum 80 hours. Meal allowance: $15 when employee works more than 2 hours of overtime continuous with either beginning or end of scheduled tour. Sick leave: 8 days per year. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours' pay at overtime rate or pay for all hours worked at overtime rate, whichever is greater.
