7 Canadian HR Reporter, a Thomson Reuters business 2019 CANADIAN LABOUR REPORTER COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS DAIRY PRODUCTS Parmalat Canada Calgary (61 shipping, production, maintenance employees, electricians, millwrights, engineers) and Teamsters Local 987 Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2018, to April 30, 2021. Ratified on July 21, 2018. Signed on May 1, 2018. Shift premium: $1 per hour for work outside hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Effective May 1, 2019: $1.10 per hour. $1 per hour for all work on Sunday. $1 per hour for lead hands, chief electri- cians, chief millwrights, chief engineers. $0.50 per hour for swing-relief positions. $0.50 per hour for employees working in general plant labour classifi- cation A or B on 4L debagging position. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: Prorated, maximum 2 weeks to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years, 6 weeks after 30 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week or 4 days work per week. Medical benefits: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide and launder, with- out charge, designated outer work-clothing required by plant employees. Tool allowance: $240 per year (previously $230 per year) to all plant maintenance employees who are required to provide own tools. Vacations with pay: 6% of base wage rate for all regular hours paid (excluding travel time) on each paycheque. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 40 hours per week. Meal allowance: One-half hour paid time or $25 for work beyond 12 hours per day. Medical benefits: Employer will remit $1.42 per hour for all hours worked, maximum 175 hours per month, to union for Construction Industry's Benefit Plan. Pension: Employer will con- tribute 4% of employee's base rate per hour for all hours worked, maximum 175 hours per month, to RRSP plan ad- ministered by union.
