Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, em- ployee pays 25% of premiums. Employer will provide $750 per year for flexible health spend- ing account (quality-of-life account) effective Jan. 1 of each year. Unused funds may be car- ried forward, maximum 1 year. Effective Jan. 1, 2020: $0.55 per hour. $0.70 per hour for all hours worked (when sched- uled) at 11 p.m. or later. Effect- ive Jan. 1, 2020: $0.80 per hour. $0.50 per hour for all hours as working lead-hand. Paid holidays: 11 days. Probationary period: 600 hours worked (must be completed within 18 months of date of hire or within subse- quent calendar year or new pro- bationary period will begin). Safety shoes: Employer will provide 50% less than cost, maximum $65 (previously $60) for 2 pairs of CSA-approved safety boots. Effective 2020: $70. Effective 2021: $75. For employees in sealing room, fishmeal, all maintenance de- partments, wet-end workers, employer will provide 50% less than cost, maximum $65 (previously $60) for 4 pairs of CSA-approved safety boots. Effective 2020: $70. Effective 2021: $75. Uniforms/clothing: All employ- ees working in food-processing areas will be provided 1 free uniform or smock per year. Employee will be required to purchase additional uniforms or smocks as required by employer. Employees in other areas will be provided up to 1 free uniform per year upon purchase of uni- form. Baader machine operators will receive nylon gloves, rubber gloves as required and 2 aprons every 100 department-days worked. Precooker workers, Standby pay: 1 hour of pay for any maintenance employee on standby.
