Vacations with pay: 1.25 days per month to start, 15 days after 1 year, 20 days after 7 years, 23 days after 12 years, 25 days after 18 years, 30 days after 25 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 7.5 hours per day or 37.5 hours per week for secretarial, clerical, traffic, sales assistants. Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week for all other employees. Double time after 12 hours in any single tour of duty. Meal allowance: $8 after 10 hours of work. Sick leave: 56 days at 100% of salary; 126 days at 80% of salary; 66 2/3% of salary until recovery or 65 years of age. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, father, mother, brother, sister, child, grandparent, mother-in- law, father-in-law, any relative residing in employee's house- hold). 1 day for death of aunt, uncle. Additional 3 days may be granted when traveling time is required. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at time and one-half. Double time after 4 hours of work, triple time for call-in on Christ- mas Day. Probationary period: Min- imum 60 days worked. Min- imum 120 days worked for pro- ducers, directors, supervisors. Severance: 3 weeks' pay per year, after 12 months of service, maximum 68 weeks times em- ployee's basic weekly pay for layoffs. 4 weeks' pay per year of service, maximum 52 weeks for dismissals. Uniforms/clothing: $1,000 per year for anchors, reporters (in- cluding sports), video journal- ists regularly appearing on cam- era. $350 per year (previously $300 per year) for appropriate work-related clothing for ENG camera/editor, general main- tenance, broadcast technicians. Mileage: $0.44 per kilometre when employee uses own vehicle.
