Ratified on Oct. 24, 2018. Signed on March 26, 2019. Shift premium: $1.50 per hour for lead-hand warehouse, lead- hand driver. Effective Sept. 1, 2019: $1.60 per hour. Effective Sept. 1, 2020: $1.75 per hour. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days, or 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 2 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 7 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 15 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 20 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week or on Saturday. Double time af- ter 4 hours of overtime or on Sunday. May be banked as time off in lieu, maximum 40 hours. Overtime that is assigned with less than 24 hours' notice will be paid at double time. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for core single coverage (exclusive of LTD). Difference in cost between core single and core couple coverage is split 50/50 between employer, employee (exclusive of LTD). Difference in cost between core single and core family coverage is split 50/50 between employer, em- ployee (exclusive of LTD). Sick leave: 1 day per month of employment, maximum 85 days. If employee uses 3 days or less of sick leave time per year (Dec. 1 to Nov. 30), $350 bonus (previously $300) will be paid on first pay period in December. LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums. Pension: Employee will receive employer contributions into group RRSP. 4% after probation; 5% after 5 years of service; 6% after 10 years of service. Employer will match employee contributions: 2% to start; 3% after 10 years of service. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law partner, mother, father, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, grandmothers, grandfathers, grandchildren, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, any relative who resides perma- nently with employee). 1 addi- tional day if employee travels 600 kilometres or more round- trip to attend funeral. Seniority – recall rights: 6 months. Call-in pay: Minimum of 3 hours' work or pay, at appro- priate overtime pay provision. Probationary period: 90 cal- endar days. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months. Severance: 1 week's salary to start; 3 weeks' salary after 1 year of service; 4 weeks' salary after 2 years of service; 6 weeks' salary after 3 years of service; 8 weeks' salary after 4 years of service; 10 weeks' salary after 10 years of service. Safety shoes: $175 per year for steel-toed work boots, which is mandatory in workplace. Employee may allocate funds towards purchase of additional safety clothing, such as pants, coveralls. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide dust masks, gloves, smocks (lab coats or apron type) in reasonable quantities. Drivers, swampers will be pro- vided with uniforms. (2,710 production employees) and Unifor, Local 88 Renewal agreement: Effective Oct. 17, 2017, to Sept. 21, 2021. Signed on Oct. 17, 2017. Shift premium: 5% for all hours worked on shifts beginning at or after 11 a.m. and before 7 p.m. 10% for all hours worked on shifts beginning at or after 7 p.m. and at or before 4:45 a.m. 10% for all hours worked before 7 a.m. on shifts beginning after 4:45 a.m. and before 6 a.m. $1 per hour in recognition of extra responsibility for organizing, planning, training, coordinat- ing employees, team activities for each team leader. $0.50 per hour for each production employee temporarily assigned to team leader duties for 4 or more consecutive hours. $0.80 per hour for each skilled trade employee temporarily assigned to team leader duties for 4 or more consecutive hours. 10% per hour for all hours worked on night shift hours 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. for powerhouse con- tinuous shift operation. 0.9% per hour continuous shift pre- mium for all hours worked on powerhouse continuous shift operation. 0.25 multiplied by base rate + COLA for all hours worked on shift where major- ity of hours fall on Sunday on powerhouse continuous shift operation. Paid holidays: 9 days. Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 80 hours or 6% after 1 year, 88 hours or 6% after 2 years, 140 hours or 7% after 3 years, 160 hours or 8% after 5 years, 180 hours or 10% after 10 years, 200 hours or 11% after 15 years, 240 hours or 12% after 20 years. All employees will take full vacation entitlement during vacation year, which is July 1 through June 30. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day. Double time for all work on Saturday, provide such time is not part of employee's Saturday shift. Bereavement leave: 4 days for death of spouse, child, parent, sister, brother. 3 days for death of stepchild, son's current spouse, daughter's cur- rent spouse, parent of current spouse, grandparent, grand- child, grandparent of current spouse, half-brother, half-sister, stepparent of employee, step- parent of current spouse, step- sister, stepbrother. Seniority – recall rights: Time equal to seniority or 36 months, whichever is greater. Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours' pay at applicable hourly rate plus COLA plus applicable shift premium. Probationary period: 90 work- ing days within 6-month per- iod. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide each employee with uniforms as required un- less it becomes cost prohibitive or no longer beneficial to do so. Employer will provide personal protective devices, equipment, clothing deemed necessary to protect employee's health and safety.
