Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 2 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 20 years. Overtime: Time and one- half after 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week. May be banked as time off in lieu but will be paid out on last pay pe- riod prior to Christmas. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of parent, wife, husband, brother, stepbrother, sister, stepsister, child, common-law spouse, mother-in-law, father- in-law, sister-in-law, brother- in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in- law, grandparent, grandchild. Additional 2 days burial occurs outside of province. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, nephew, niece. 1 unpaid day to attend funeral as pallbearer, flower bearer, reader. Seniority – recall rights: 12 consecutive months. Probationary period: 520 hours worked. Discipline: Sunset clause is 15 months. Severance: 1 weeks' pay for each year of service, maximum 15 weeks, after 36 months of service. Safety shoes: $250 per year (previously $100 per year) for safety footwear per year for em- ployees in engineering, house- men, TCC housemen, kitchen, stewarding, bellman depart- ments. Effective Jan. 1, 2020: $300 per year. Uniforms/clothing: Protec- tive devices, other equipment deemed necessary to protect employees from injury will be supplied by employer. Employer will provide uniforms to em- ployees who are required to wear uniforms in performance of duties.
