Signed on Oct. 18, 2018. Shift premium: $1 per hour (previously $1.50 per hour) for customer-service/cashier, bak- ers, team-lead employees who work hours between midnight and 6 a.m. Paid holidays: 10 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 11 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day. Time and one-half for all work on sixth, seventh consecu- tive days of work. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage under HMS Host In- ternational of Canada Benefits Package. Sick leave: 6 days per year. Maximum 9 days may be accu- mulated after 2 years of service. Maximum 3 days may be car- ried over to following year. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate fam- ily (spouse, child, parent, legal guardian, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, nephew, niece, grandparent, grandchild, cur- rent common-law partner, current adult-interdependent partner, any immediate family member of employee's spouse, common-law partner or adult- interdependent partner, per- son, whether or not related to employee by blood, adoption, marriage or common-law part- nership, or by virtue of adult- interdependent relationship, who considers the member to be close relative). 3 additional unpaid days upon request. Seniority – recall rights: 7 months. Probationary period: 90 days, minimum 45 days worked (pre- viously 3 months, minimum 45 days worked). Meals: Employees who work more than 5 hours in any shift will receive 50% meal discount (previously $2.75 per shift) on 1 meal during break. Employees who receive second meal break will receive 50% meal discount on 1 meal during second break. Employees are entitled to 1 free beverage prior to shift, 1 free beverage per rest period.
