Shift premium: $1.10 per hour (previously $1 per hour) for all hours worked on second shift (4 p.m. to midnight). $2 per hour (previously $1.70 per hour) for all hours worked on shift (midnight to 8 a.m.). $1.10 or $2 per hour for employees on permanent afternoon or night shift. $1.03 per hour (previously $0.90 per hour) for employees permanently on continually ro- tating shifts. $0.15 per hour for tradesmen's helper general help. $0.03 for working in warehouse for barrel-inspector stacker. $2.25 distillery-process opera- tor shift-leader premium. Paid holidays: 11 days, plus day before Christmas. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks af- ter 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 12 years, 5 weeks after 20 years. Employees will be off work during Christmas, Easter shutdown periods. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Double time after 8 hours of work on Saturday. Time and one-half for all work on Saturday or on scheduled day off. Double time for all work on Sunday. Effective July 1, 2019, employees will not be required to work more than 8 hours of overtime per week. Meal allowance: $10 for em- ployees who continuously work 11 or more hours. Additional $10 if employee work continu- ously 15 or more hours. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for employee, dependant coverage under OHIP and Green Shield semi-private plan. Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Green Shield vision-care plan ($270 reim- bursement). Benefit may be ap- plied towards costs of laser eye surgery. Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums. LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $60,000. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $75,000. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, child. 3 days for death of father, mother, stepfa- ther, stepmother, grandparents, father-in-law, mother-in-law, husband, wife, common-law spouse, son, daughter, brother, sister, grandchild. 1 day to at- tend funeral of stepbrothers, stepsisters, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparents-in- law. Seniority – recall rights: 2 years to start; 4 years after 2 years of service; 5 years after 10 years of service. Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours' pay at time and one- half; double time for Sunday or holiday. Probationary period: 90 cal- endar days. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months. Severance: 2 weeks of regular non-overtime pay per year of seniority, maximum 52 weeks of pay. Safety shoes: $195 (previously $185) for safety-toe shoes. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide 3 trousers/shorts (or combination thereof ); 2 cargo pants; 3 shirts (any combination of shirts or com- pany designated T-shirts). 1 ad- ditional company-designated T-shirt or shirt for maintenance employees. Replacement of uniforms will be undertaken on annual basis. Employer will provide certain safety equip- ment, clothing to employees to protect from personal injury, such as hairnets, hard hats, gloves. To prevent face, eye injuries from welding or han- dling acids or caustics, face- shields and prescription safety spectacles will be provided. Air masks, safety harnesses for working in confined spaces will be provided. Employer will pro- vide safety clothing for welding and for handling of acids and caustics. Employer will provide rubber boots to employees in manufacturing department. Winter coats, spring nylon jackets will be issued to each employee in grain elevator and to plant-maintenance trades- men. Coveralls or smocks will be provided to employees to protect personal clothing when working at dirty assignments. Mileage: $0.41 per kilometre for all authorized kilometres voluntarily driven by employee in own automobile on em- ployer's business, not including transportation to and from work.
