Upon return of extension cords and timers, driver will be compensated $100 for cost of hydro. Overnight charters: Employer will be responsible for pre-arranging reasonable room accommodations and expenses for overnight charters. 10 hours of pay at driver's hourly charter driving rate will be paid for each 24-hour period. $40-per-day (previously $30 per day) meal allowance will be paid. Medical examinations: Employer will reimburse 100% of cost, maximum $150 (previously $130), of medical examinations pertaining to renewal of any applicable license. Employer will administer initial required eye examination request. If the initial test is unsuccessful, employer will reimburse 100%, maximum $60, of cost of examination. Training fund: Employer will make $200 lump-sum contribution to UFCW Training and Education Fund within 15 days of Sept. 1 in each year of agreement. EDUCATION Memorial University of Newfoundland St. John's (1,330 lecturers, professors, librarians, other faculty members) and the Memorial University of Newfoundland Faculty Association (MUNFA) Renewal agreement: Effective April 30, 2019, to Aug. 31, 2020. Signed on Feb. 26, 2019. Shift premium: $300 for each time employee monitors, evalu- ates more than 42 students at 1 time. $5,144 (previously $4,994) for overload teaching for each course or equivalent taught or receiving future re- mission in teaching equivalent to extra teaching carried out. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 25 days to start, 30 days after 10 years. May be carried forward to next academic year, maximum 1 year's entitlement. Maximum 2 year's vacation leave may be taken in any 1 academic year. Unused leave will be paid out upon retirement. Sick leave: 60 days per year. Pension: Memorial University Pension Plan. Bereavement leave: 10 days for death of near relative, common- law spouse, other live-in partner. Seniority – recall rights: 3 years.
