Wage adjustments: Effective June 10, 2018: 1.75% Effective June 10, 2019: 1.75% Effective June 10, 2020: 1.75% Shift premium: $3 per hour or part thereof, minimum 1 hour, when employee is temporarily assigned to perform more than 1 hour of work in higher-rated classification. $2 per hour (plus additional one-half hour of pay) when employee works between midnight and 7 a.m. $15 per hour, maximum $75, for satel- lite uplink operations. Paid holidays: 9 days, plus 2 floater holidays. Vacations with pay: 1.5 days per month, maximum 15 days, to start, 15 days after 1 year, 20 days after 7 years, 23 days after 12 years, 25 days after 18 years, 30 days after 25 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per shift, double time after 12 hours. May be banked as time off in lieu, maximum 64 hours per year. Medical benefits: Omniflex group benefit plan. Pension: Employer, employee will submit percentage of salary into DC plan. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of mother, father, stepparents, spouse (includ- ing common-law relationships of 1 year or more), child, legal guardian, brother, sister. 3 days for death of mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, relative residing in employee's residence. 1 day for death of brother-in-law, sister- in-law, grandparent-in-law, aunt, uncle. Additional 2 days for travel may be granted at em- ployer's discretion. Seniority – recall rights: 2 years for layoff; 1 year for em- ployee moved to another group. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours' pay at time and one-half, in- cluding 30 minutes for travel- ling, double time after 4 hours of work. Probationary period: 3 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months. Severance: 4 weeks to start; 5 weeks after 5 years; 6 weeks after 10 years; 8 weeks after 20 years. As well, employee is entitled to 3 weeks' pay for each year of service, maximum 68 weeks' pay. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply protective clothing, safety footwear, safety devices for employees on assignments where conditions require use. Employer will provide vary- ing sizes of parkas, boots to be taken in news cruiser if such clothing is required on shift. Mileage: $0.45 per kilometre.
