Additional responsibility pre- mium of $1 per hour (previous- ly $0.90 per hour) will be paid for all hours worked between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Friday, Sat- urday, Sunday. $1.20 per hour (previously $1.20 per hour) in recognition of additional re- sponsibilities to direct (train, relieve, related administration) and oversee activities of specific work unit. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks af- ter 1 year, 3 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 17 years, 6 weeks after 24 years. Employees will take vacation during year in which they are entitled to it and there will be no carryover. Employees will only be allowed to schedule maximum 2 consecutive weeks during June, July, August. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after regular sched- uled hours per day or per week and 80 hours per pay period. Meal allowance: $7.50 for all employees who work more than 2 hours past regular scheduled shift. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for 80% coverage for basic services; 50% coverage for major restorative services; maximum $2,000 per year per person. Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $250 every 2 years (previously $225 every 2 years) and eye exams of $50 every 2 years (previously $35 every 2 years). Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums for 60% of gross weekly base rate for up to 26 weeks, maximum $635 (previously $600). Sick leave: 40 hours per year. Employee who works complete year and has not received any warnings regarding attendance, will receive payout of 100% of unused sick leave. Employee who works complete year, who has not received any warnings regarding attendance and who has not used any sick leave will receive payout of 125% of un- used sick leave. LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for 60% of gross weekly base rate. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 1 times annual wages. Pension: Employer contrib- utes $2.01 per hour, employee contributes $2.28 per hour to pension trust fund. Effective May 1, 2020: Employer contrib- utes $2.07 per hour, employee contributes $2.32 per hour. Ef- fective May 1, 2021: Employer contributes $2.13 per hour, employee contributes $2.35 per hour. Effective May 1, 2022: Employer contributes $2.22 per hour, employee contributes $2.40 per hour. Effective May 1, 2023: Employer contributes $2.32 per hour, employee con- tributes $2.45 per hour. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law partner, parent, stepparent, child, step- child, brother, sister, grandpar- ent, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law). 1 day for death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law. Additional 2 days without pay if funeral is more than 350 kilo- metres away. Seniority – recall rights: 6 months to start; 12 months after 10 years of service. Probationary period: 45 work- ing days. Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for disciplinary no- tices. Severance: 1 week's pay for each year of service (employee in department affected by per- manent layoffs who would not otherwise lose employment may apply to voluntarily ter- minate and receive separation allowance of 1 week's pay for each year of service, maximum 15 weeks). Safety shoes: Employer will reimburse employees $110 on first pay period following May 1 each year (or $220 for 2 years) for approved safety footwear. Boots will be repaired or re- placed if damaged as a result of workplace activity. Uniforms/clothing: Once per year, employer will provide 1 jacket, 4 shirts, 2 pairs of pants. All delivery personnel will wear only employer-ap- proved uniforms. 1 winter par- ka will be supplied by employer once every 2 years. Employer will provide suitable cold- weather clothing for employees who work in yard and cooler. Should employee be successful in posting to position requiring class 1 license and pass company-approved driving test, employee will receive 100% of cost of training portion reimbursed by employer. Medicals required for obtaining class 1 driver's license will be paid by employer.
