Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 1 day per 25 days of work, maximum 10 days, to start, 1 day per 16 2/3 days of work, maximum 15 days, after 3 years, 1 day per 12 1/2 days of work, maximum 20 days, after 9 years, 1 day per 10 1/2 days of work, maximum 25 days, after 9 years, 1 day per 8 1/2 days of work, maximum 30 days, after 30 years. Unused time may be carried forward into following year, but must be used by March 31. Employee whose employment is termi- nated in any manner, who has unused period of vacation with pay, will be allowed vacation time off or employee will be paid in lieu if time not taken. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work in excess of and continuous with before or after normal daily hours. Medical benefits: Fairmont Hotels Employee Benefit Plan. Employer pays 100% of pre- miums for provincial medical plan. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 100% for routine ex- penses. 50% for major expenses, maximum $1,400 per year. Lifetime maximum $1,000 for orthodontics for children. Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $350 every 24 months per employee, depen- dant covered. $75 per visit once every 12 months for eye exams. Paramedical: Coverage of $1,200 per year. Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums for cov- erage of 70% of regular weekly earnings up to 26 weeks, maxi- mum $485 per week. Sick leave: Maximum 50 days per year plus 3 personal days per employee per calendar year for medical reasons. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $60,000. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $60,000. Pension: Employer, employee will contribute 3.2% of earnings, maximum yearly maximum pensionable earnings; 5% of earnings over yearly maximum pensionable earnings to Fair- mont Hotels Pension Plan. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse (common-law, same sex), child, stepchild, em- ployee's or spouse mother, fa- ther. 3 days for death of brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild (additional 2 days if funeral takes place outside of Alberta). Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours of pay at time and one- half. Probationary period: 3 months of cumulative service. Safety shoes: Employer will reimburse employee for safety footwear, maximum $85 on Sept. 1 each year, for 1 or 2 pairs of footwear. Unused tool allow- ance may be used for footwear. Uniforms/clothing: Employ- ees who wear uniforms will have them supplied them by employer free of charge. Neces- sary valet, laundry service for uniforms will also be supplied by employer. Tool allowance: Employer will reimburse, maximum $100 every Sept. 1, for wear and tear, breakage, damage or theft of in- ventoried tools during working hours. Unused safety-footwear allowance may be used for foot- wear.
