Paid holidays: 10 days in- cluding 2 floater days (to be determined in October of each year for following year). Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years, 6 weeks after 25 years, 7 weeks after 30 years. Overtime: Double time for all hours worked outside of normal work period and on statutory holidays. Meal allowance: If 8-hour shift employee is scheduled to work more than 9.5 con- tinuous hours (13.5 hours for 12-hour shift employees), employer will provide meal if requested. Second meal, if requested, will be provided if employee works more than 13.5 continuous hours. Meals will be provided if employee is called into work on such short notice that employee is unable to provide own meal. Medical benefits: Employer pays 85% of premiums, em- ployee pays 15% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums. 100% reim- bursement, maximum $2,000 per year for each employee and each eligible dependant, for basic, preventive care (routine oral examination, cleanings, fillings). 50% re- imbursement for restoration, replacement care (crowns, inlays, dentures). $1,000 per year for each covered depen- dant (lifetime maximum of $2,000) for treatment to cor- rect malocclusion of teeth. Vision: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums. $250 per 24 month period for each em- ployee and each eligible de- pendant. Reimbursement for annual eye exams, maximum $100. Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 85% of premiums, em- ployee pays 15% of premiums for coverage of 75% of basic earnings. Sick leave: No specific limits with reasonable medical evi- dence, other than they cannot be for unlimited period of time. LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 60% of basic earnings. Life insurance: Employer pays 85% of premiums, em- ployee pays 15% of premiums for group life insurance. Pension: DB plan for employ- ees on seniority list as of June 2, 2010. Employees contribute 3.4% of maximum pension- able earnings under CPP and 5% of earnings in excess of CPP maximum, employer covers balance of cost. DC plan for employees hired after June 2, 2010 funded wholly by company. Employer will con- tribute $39 per month (previ- ously $37.23) per employee into employee savings plan and group RRSP. Effective Feb. 1, 2021: $40 per month. Bereavement leave: 3 work- ing days to attend funeral of parent, spouse, child, sibling, parent-in-law, grandparent, grandchild. Seniority – recall rights: 1 month for each month of se- niority, maximum 36 months for layoffs; 6 months for em- ployee who accepts position out-of-scope. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours' at straight time, except where employee starts 2 hours or less before regular working time and continues working into regular work period. Probationary period: 1,500 hours worked. Severance: 2 weeks' pay plus 2 additional weeks for each complete year of continuous service multiplied by 1.3 for employees with 1 or more year of service.
