than 15 years' service receive 1.5 weeks' pay for every year of service after 15 to maximum of 52 weeks. Termination due to technological change: 2 weeks' pay per year of service up to 9 years, then 21 weeks' pay after 10 years, 24 after 11 years, 27 after 12 years, 30 after 13 years, 33 after 14 years, 36 after 16 years, 2 weeks' pay for each ad- ditional 6-month period up to 25 years, then 2.5 weeks' pay for each subsequent 6-month period after 25 years. Safety shoes: Cable depart- ment employees receive $145 per year towards purchase of CSA-approved safety footwear that can be carried over for maximum of $290 in 1 year. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply any special cloth- ing as it deems necessary to be worn on job for reasons of ap- pearance, safety or health, or as protection against undue wear or damage. Tool allowance: Employer supplies tools required for job and replaces then as they be- come obsolete or worn out. Mileage: When employee is assigned to special project, attend training course or temporarily transferred to work location that is further away from home than normal work location, employee will be eligible to receive travel expenses. Employee who works com- plete calendar year will receive payout of 100% of accrued sick leave, provided employee has not received written warning regarding attendance in calen- dar year. Pension: All new hires, as of date of ratification, will have contributions at 7% to Team- sters Pension Plan. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate fam- ily (spouse, parents, child, brother, sister, grandparents). 1 day for death in non-imme- diately family (mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepfather, step- mother, stepbrother, stepsister, grandparents-in-law). Seniority – recall rights: 9 months for layoffs. Call-in pay: Time and one- half for minimum 4 hours. Probationary period: 180 days. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for disciplinary ac- tions, disciplinary letters. Severance: 1 week of pay for each year of service, maximum 10 years of service. Safety shoes: As condition of employment, all employ- ees will be required to wear employer-approved safety footwear: Employer will pro- vide $125 per year (previously $110 per year) or $250 for 2 years (previously $200 for 2 years). Editor's notes: First-aid training: Employer will have trained first-aid employees with certificates in plant and will bear cost of training. Licensing: Employer will pay cost of milk receiver's license or pasteurizer's license and any necessary upgrades to maintain license (if training must occur during employees' scheduled shift, employee will not suffer loss of pay).
