GAS PIPELINES Plains Midstream Canada Empress North 6 Plant Deer Forks No. 232, Sask. (50 pipeline employees) and Unifor, Local 746 Renewal agreement: Effective Feb. 1, 2019 to Jan. 31, 2023. Ratified on March 20, 2019. Signed on Feb. 27, 2020. Shift premium: Day shift: $1.22 per hour rising 3 steps to $1.34 per hour. Night shift: $2.76 per hour rising 3 steps to $3.03 per hour. $665.23 per month for first-class; $536.91 per month for second-class; $214.76 for third-class Em- press operations progression employees. Paid holidays: 11 days plus 1 additional recognized holiday. Vacations with pay: 10 hours, maximum 120 hours, for each month to start, 120 hours after 1 year, 160 hours after 9 years, 200 hours after 18 years, 240 hours after 24 years. 10 hours, maximum 120 hours, for each month to start, 13 days after 1 year, 18 days after 9 years, 22 days after 18 years, 27 days after 24 years for 9-hour shifts. 10 hours, maximum 120 hours, for each month to start, 10 days after 1 year, 18 days after 9 years, 22 days after 18 years, 27 days after 24 years for 12- hour shifts. Overtime: Double time for all hours worked in excess of regularly scheduled hours; for all hours worked on days of rest; for all hours worked on employer-recognized holiday. Employee will receive mini- mum 2 hours of straight-time pay if overtime is cancelled with than 1 hour of notice. Meal allowance: Employee will be eligible for suitable meal after working more than 1.5 hours in conjunction with regular shift; more than 4 hours of scheduled work in period of rest; more than 2 hours of work on call-in; 4 additional hours after time of first and any subsequent eligibility for overtime meal so long as employee continues on overtime or call-in. If em- ployee does not take company provided meal, $21 will be paid in lieu. Bereavement leave: 1 day to attend funeral (plus 4 ad- ditional days for travel) for death of spouse (by marriage or common-law), son, daugh- ter, parent, sister, brother, equivalent in-law, grandpar- ent (by birth or marriage). 1 day to attend funeral of more distant relative or close friend. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months or longer due to layoff. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours of pay at basic hourly rate established for job as- signed (minimum 4 hours will not apply when work contin- ues into or is continuation of employee's regular schedule). Probationary period: First 90 days of employment. Severance: Greater of 4 weeks of pay multiplied by 1.30 or 2 weeks of pay plus 2 weeks of pay for each year of service multiplied by 1.30 (provided employee has at least 1 year of service). Sever- ance pay for partial year of service will be calculated on prorated basis. Safety shoes: Each full-time employee will be reimbursed for actual purchase price of appropriate safety footwear as required (maximum $120 for students and temporary em- ployees). Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide suitable protective work clothing as required. Steam engineers education assistance program: $1,000 for private tu- tors for fourth-class students; $3000 for third-class, second-class, first-class students. Paid education leave: Employer will remit $0.05 for each full-time employee's regular hours of work for paid education leave.
