COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS fuel tanks (premium will only be paid to employees working inside tank). $40 per day for incidentals for each Saturday, Sunday, statutory holiday that employee was not actively working but remained de- ployed including travel for em- ployee who remains at another IMP base of operation. Paid holidays: 11 days plus 1 floating holiday per year after 1 year of seniority. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks to start, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 20 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for work in excess of scheduled hours of work; double time af- ter 12 hours of work in 24-hour period; double time for work after 8 hours worked on em- ployee's first day of rest and for all hours worked on second or subsequent days of rest. Time may be banked and taken as time off, maximum 100 hours in bank. Employees may carry over maximum 80 hours from 1 fiscal year to another. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for benefit plan B. Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums. Maximum $1,500 per year for basic and major services combined. Paramedical: $1,500 or $800 per year based on employee preference. Sick leave: Maximum 6 sick days per fiscal year. Life insurance: Coverage of 1 or 2 time annual earnings based on employee preference. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, child. 3 days for death in immediate family (father, stepfather, mother, stepmother, brother, stepbrother, sister, stepsister, spouse, child, step- child, father-in-law, mother-in- law, son-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchild, grandparent, any relative of employee residing in employee's household). 2 additional unpaid days may be requested and will be approved where travel is required greater than 500 kilometres. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew. Seniority – recall rights: 6 months to start; 12 months af- ter 1 year of service; 18 months after 3 years of service. Call-in pay: Greater of com- pensation for all hours worked at appropriate overtime rate or compensation equivalent to 4 hours of pay at straight-time rate. Probationary period: 3 months from day employee is first hired (period will be ex- tended for equivalent period by any absence from worksite of 1 week or more; absence from worksite will include any period of time employee is on type training). Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for any document or written statement related to disciplinary actions. Severance: 1 week of pay for each year of service. Safety shoes: $170 (previously $100 every 12 months) for CSA-approved safety boots on initial hire and then every 18 months. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide and pay for all reasonable protective devices, clothing, other equipment necessary to properly protect employees from injury and unhealthy conditions in perfor- mance of work.
