Bereavement leave: 5 days for immediate family, including parents, step-parents, siblings, children, step-children, spouse (common-law or same-sex), step-siblings. 3 days for extended family, including father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, or any person permanently living with the employee. Seniority – recall rights: 9 months. Probationary period: 4 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years. Safety shoes: $100 every 2 years for non-slip shoes for kitchen staff. $150 every 2 years for safety shoes for main- tenance staff. Uniforms/clothing: Uniforms provided, to be either cleaned and maintained directly by employer, or reimbursement of $1 per shift. Any protective equipment deemed necessary will be provided. Tool allowance: Reimbursement up to $150 per year if per- sonal kitchen equipment or tools become broken or worn out.
