He has represented employers from small start-ups to large multinationals in all aspects of labour and employment law. Tim's labour practice runs the gamut from initial applications for certification and first agreement bargaining through to revocation applications and everything in between: contract administration, grievance arbitration, lockouts, strikes and picketing, and unfair labour practice complaints. He regularly counsels both unionized and non-unionized employers on such issues as hiring, employment agreements, policy development and implementation, human rights, workplace privacy issues and discipline and dismissal. In his 15 years of specialized management-side practice, Tim has had the opportunity to represent clients before a wide variety of courts and tribunals, including in applications for leave to the Supreme Court of Canada. He authors Ask an Expert for Canadian Employment Law Today several times annually and is the co-author of Canadian Employment Law Answers. Notwithstanding his busy practice, Tim is currently taking an LL.M. in labour and employment law at Osgoode Hall Law School. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and was called to the Alberta bar in 1996. Craig W. Neuman Neuman Thompson Edmonton (780) 733-6556 Andrew R.
