About HR Vendors
Guide 2014
What are the opportunities for a post-secondary education in
human resources in your province? What's the minimum wage in
the province next door? What HR designations are available? And
where can you find leading vendors of HR products and services?
Welcome to HR Vendors Guide 2014, where you'll find the answers
to these and many more questions.
Canada's directory of human resources and health and safety
vendors, services, resources and educational programs has been a
valuable resource for HR professionals and business owners for 24
years. The HR Vendors Guide is also available online at www.hrre-
porter.com/hr-vendors-guide and is also available in a digital format
you can download from the website. The digital edition is a replica
of the print version with live links to the providers and sources
listed in the guide, and available for free at www.hrreporter.com/
hr-vendors-guide.
In addition to vendor information, you'll find a number of
valuable resources throughout HR Vendors Guide 2014. In the
Compensation section, there is a list of organizations which pro-
vide salary surveys, and a chart of minimum wage rates across the
country. Under Diversity/Equity, you'll find contact information
for human rights commissions. The Healthy Workplaces section
has a comprehensive list of associations, workers' compensations
boards, safety boards and other agencies and bodies, representing
both government and industry. The Labour Relations section lists
labour ministries, labour relations boards and industrial relations
institutes and associations. The Pensions category includes valuable
contacts and regulatory information. The Recruitment and Staffing
section includes Canadian-focused job boards.
And there's a special section just for the HR profession itself.
Under HR Professional Development, you'll find HR associations,
information on HR designations and a comprehensive list of univer-
sity and college HR programs and courses. This year we have also
added a listing of human resources sector councils in both federal
and provincial jurisdictions (where they exist).
When searching for an HR product or services vendor, use the
Vendor Index at the back to easily find companies.
We work hard to make our listings as comprehensive as pos-
sible. In this endeavour, we welcome your help. If you know of an
organization that should be added to our listings, send us an email
at pamela.menezes@thomsonreuters.com.
