Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is one
of the largest single-profession pen-
sion plans in Canada. As an indepen-

In 2013, the new Social Security
Tribunal (SST) became responsible
for appeals under the Canada Pen-
sion Plan (CPP). The Pension Appeals
Board no longer receives applications
or holds hearings and has completed
its work. All outstanding appeals and
related matters have been transferred
to the SST.
