Vacations with pay: 3 weeks to start, 4 weeks after 2 years, 5 weeks after 7 years, 6 weeks after 12 years, 6 weeks plus 2 days after 17 years, 7 weeks plus 1 day after 22 years. Not more than 1 year's entitlement may be carried over. Vacation travel as- sistance: $2,000 per person (de- pendants over 2 years) per year, up to $12,000 per employee. overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of 8 per day. Sick leave: 1.25 days earned per month. Wellness reward: 1 sick leave day may be converted to 1 vacation day when an employee does not use a sick leave credit in a 6-month period. Paid holidays: 12 days. Time and one-half for first 8 hours of overtime on a named holiday, double time for all subsequent hours. Time off may be taken instead of pay. Vacations with pay: 3 weeks to start (pro rated), 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 16 years, 6 weeks after 25 years. Meal allowance: $12 or a meal provided by employer for employees who work at least 3 hours overtime. $12 or addi- tional meal provided per 4-hour period if an employee continues to work. Medical benefits: Medical Ser- vices Plan of British Columbia. Dental: 100% coverage for ba- sic services, 60% coverage for major restorative services up to a combined limit of $2,000 per person per year. 50% of cover- age for orthodontic services up to $3,000 per person. Vision: Up to $235 per person every 2 years. Sick leave: 1.5 days earned per month worked. Unused credits to accumulate up to 960 hours. lTD: 66.67% of salary. Employ- er pays 85% of premium. AD&D: 200% of salary. $5,000 for spouse, $2,500 for child. Em- ployer to pay 100% of premium. life insurance: 200% of salary. $5,000 for spouse, $2,500 for child. Employer to pay 100% of premium. Pension: Defined benefit pen- sion (for ex-federal service workers): 7.5% of pensionable earnings less CPP contribu- tions, to be matched by em- ployer. Defined contribution pension (for employees hired post 1997): 6% of pensionable earnings to be matched by em- ployer. Bereavement leave: 4 days for the funeral of an immediate family member.
