Paid holidays: 10 days. Overtime: Double time for all hours worked on Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Meal allowance: Meal provid- ed after 2 hours' overtime and every 4 hours thereafter or $26 in lieu of meals. Pension: Employer contrib- utes $7.23 per hour to the Health & Welfare and Pension Plan Uniforms/clothing: Rain suits and rubber boots provided as necessary. Mileage: 55¢ per km. Sample rates of pay, current: Industrial: $37.38 per hour Commercial, residential and institutional: $35.89 Journeymen: $43.47 Editor's notes: Wash-up: Employees will be given 15 minutes at the end of the day for the purpose of putting away tools and washing up. Dues: $17 per week for dues. 25¢ per hour worked for field dues. Room and board: $118 per day allowance. $121 per day effective May 1, 2016. $124 per day effective May 1, 2017. Shifts: All employees will have a minimum of 8 hours off between shifts. Moonlighting: No employee will do any plumbing, steamfitting, pipefitting or other connected work for any person or persons other than their regular employer after regular working hours. Employees who violate this rule may be disciplined or discharged. MAIL SERVICES ICS Courier Ottawa (26 couriers) and the Teamsters Canada Local 91 Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2015, to June 30, 2018. Signed on Aug. 10, 2015. Wage adjustments: Effective July 1, 2016: 3% Effective July 1, 2017: 3% Calculated by CLR. Shift premium: $8 per shift for employees working a split shift when the scheduled split is 2 1/2 hours or more. $1 per hour for all hours worked between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. $1 per hour for lead hands. $1 per hour for employees required to train other drivers. Paid holidays: 9 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 15 years and 6 weeks after 25 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week for sorters and for all hours worked in excess of 9 hours per day or 45 hours per week for drivers. Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee's spouse or child, including child of spouse or common law partner. 3 days for employee's parent, par- ent's spouse, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother, sis- ter, grandparent, grandchild and any relative living with the employee. Seniority – recall rights: 1 year. Probationary period: 180 hours worked. Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months. Safety shoes: $100 per year. Sample rates of pay, current: Sorter: $14.339 per hour rising in 3 steps to $15.962 Driver: $19.397 rising in 3 steps to $20.290 Spare driver: $19.586 rising in 3 steps to $21.621 5-ton driver: $19.392 rising in 3 steps to $21.567 Editor's notes: Union initiation: The union initiation fee will be deducted from employees' pay in installments of $25 until the fee is paid in full. TRANSPORTATION XTL Transport Montreal (25 mechanics) and the Teamsters Canada Local 106 Renewal agreement: Effect- ive July 17, 2015, to July 16, 2019. Signed on July 17, 2015. Wage adjustments: Effective 2015: 2% Effective 2016: 1.5% Effective 2017: 1.5% Effective 2018: 1.75% Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 1 day per month worked to a maximum of 10 days to start, 2 weeks af- ter 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 12 years and 5 weeks after 21 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked on Satur- day and Sunday. Vision: $100 every 2 years for prescription safety glasses. Bereavement leave: 3 days for employee's parents, sib- lings, children, grandchildren, grandparents, father-in-law or mother-in-law. Seniority – recall rights: 1 year. Probationary period: 80 days worked. Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year. Safety shoes: $145 per year for safety shoes and $200 per year for winter safety boots. Uniforms/clothing: 1 winter coat provided every 2 years. First coat provided after 1 year of continuous service. Tool allowance: $450 per year. $475 effective Jan. 1, 2019. Sample rates of pay, current: Class 1: $24.48 per hour Class 2: $23.46 Class 3: $21.42 Class A: $22 Class B: $18 Editor's notes: Medical tests: Employees required to submit to medical exams outside of regular working hours will be compensated $30.
