(27 service and maintenance employees) and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) Renewal agreement: Effec- tive Aug. 27, 2014, to Aug. 26, 2018. Signed on June 24, 2015. Wage adjustments: Effective upon ratification: 5% Effective Jan. 1, 2014: 2.5% Effective Jan. 1, 2015: 2.5% Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 2.5% Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 2.5% Shift premium: $2 per hour for all hours worked between 4 p.m. and 8 a.m., provided majority of shift occurs in that period. $2 per hour for all hours worked on a Saturday or Sunday. Paid holidays: 12 days. Time and one-half for all hours worked on a designated holi- day, double time for all over- time hours. Vacations with pay: 3 weeks to start, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 16 years, 6 weeks after 25 years. Overtime: Time and one- half for all hours worked in excess of employee's normal schedule. Time and one-half for each hour worked on first day of rest and double time for each hour worked in excess of employee's normal scheduled daily hours worked on that day of rest. Double time for each hour worked on the second or subsequent day of rest. Double time for each hour of overtime worked after 16 hours' work in any 24-hour period. Medical benefits: Medical Services Plan of British Co- lumbia. Dental: 100% coverage for ba- sic services, 60% coverage for major restorative services up to $2,000. Vision: $350 per person every 2 years. AD&D: 200% of salary for employee, $5,000 for spouse, $2,500 for child. Life insurance: 200% of sal- ary for employee, $5,000 for spouse, $2,500 for child. Pension: Defined Benefit Pension Plan for employees hired prior to Aug. 27, 1997. Defined Contribution Pension Plan for all employees hired subsequently, employer and employee contribute 6%. Bereavement leave: 4 days for the death of an employee's father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, foster parent, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, spouse, common- law spouse, child, spouse's child, foster child, stepchild, ward, grandchild, grandpar- ent, father-in-law, mother-in- law or any other relative resid- ing with the employee. Up to 3 additional days for travel. 1 day for the death of a son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in- law, sister-in-law. Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours' pay at applicable over- time rate. $16.50 for each 8-hour period employee is required to be on standby on off-duty hours. Probationary period: 6 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years, provided no further dis- cipline has occurred. Severance: 2 weeks' pay for first completed year of service, 1 week's pay for each subse- quent year or part thereof, up to 30 weeks' pay. Mileage: 50¢ per km up to 30 km each way when employee reports for overtime work. Sample rates of pay, current: Airport technician II: $32.12 per hour Airport technician III: $34.05 Supervisor: $35.75 Project planning technician: $27.94 Administrative assistant: $23.16 Administrative co-ordinator: $29.19 Editor's notes: Compassionate leave: Up to 8 weeks unpaid to take care of a family member with risk of dying within 26 weeks. Washup time: 10 minutes permitted before end of each working day when employer determines nature of work requires washup time. Critical stress: Employer and union both recognize benefit of critical incident stress de- briefings and agree to develop such protocols together. SOCIAL SERVICES Travois Holdings (Mayfair Care Centre) Calgary (130 auxiliary nursing care employees) and the Christian Labour Association of Canada (CLAC) Local 301 Renewal agreement: Effec- tive April 1, 2015, to March 31, 2017. Signed on August 27, 2015. Wage adjustments: Effective April 1, 2016: 3% Shift premium: 75¢ per hour for evening shift. $1.50 per hour for night shift. $1.50 per hour on weekend shift. Paid holidays: 11 days. Time and one-half for all shifts on a designated holiday. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks to start (pro rated in first year), 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 6 years, 5 weeks after 15 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of 7.5 in one day or 37.5 in one week. Medical benefits: CLAC Health and Welfare Trust Fund and CLAC Benefit Ser- vice Plan. Sick leave: 1 day earned per month up to 12 days. Pension: CLAC Pension Plan. Effective April 1, 2013, em- ployees may contribute 1%, 2%, 3% or 4%, with employer matching contribution. Avail- able to full-time and part-time employees who have complet- ed probation. Bereavement leave: 3 days for the death of an employee's spouse, common-law spouse, child, parent, brother, sister, husband, wife, grandparent, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchild or guardian.
