(190 truck drivers) and the Teamsters Local 31 and Local 213 Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2015, to Dec. 31, 2019. Wage adjustments: Effective Jan. 1, 2015: $500 sign- ing bonus Effective Jan. 1, 2016: $500 sign- ing bonus Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1.6% Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 1.6% Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 1.6% Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 9 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 21 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours of overtime, double time for all hours worked thereafter. Double time for all hours worked on a Sunday. Bereavement leave: 4 days for the loss of a spouse or child. 3 days for the loss of mother, father, sister, brother, mother- in-law, father-in-law. Seniority – recall rights: 1 year. 18 months for employees with at least 5 years' seniority. Probationary period: 3 months. Safety shoes: $125 per year upon receipt for safety boots. Sample rates of pay, current: Dock men: $24.39 per hour City pick-up and delivery driv- er: $24.39 City pick-up and delivery driver, semi-trailer: $24.49 Mechanics, licensed: $29.25 Mechanics, unlicensed: $25.11 Tiremen: $24.39 Greasers: $24.39 Shop helper: $22.25 FOOD SERVICES Gate Gourmet Toronto (730 food service employees) and Teamsters Canada Renewal agreement: Effec- tive April 1, 2015, to March 31, 2021. Wage adjustments: Effective March 2019: 2% Effective April 2020: 2.5% Calculated by CLR. Shift premium: 75¢ per hour for all hours worked on the night shift. 50¢ per hour for all hours worked on the after- noon shift. 50¢ per hour for all hours worked on forklift or freezer duty. $1 per hour for lead hands. $1 per hour for em- ployees assigned to do work as a warewash disassemble. 75¢ per hour DA premium for all hours worked airside. Paid holidays: 10 days and 2 floating holidays. Vacations with pay: 4% of gross earnings to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 11 years, 5 weeks after 17 years and 6 weeks after 25 years. Meal allowance: Employees are charged 70¢ per day for meals. Medical benefits: $1,000 per year for paramedical services. $1,000 per year for physiothera- py and athletic therapy. Dental: $25 per person annual deductable. $50 per family an- nual deductable. Vision: $200 every 2 years. Pension: Employer contributes 5% of pensionable earnings per month per full-time employee hired prior to Aug. 7, 2012, who has completed 2 years of em- ployment. Employer contrib- utes 1% of pensionable earnings per month per full-time em- ployee hired after Aug. 7, 2012, who has completed 2 years of employment. Contributions end when employee reaches 65 years of age.
