Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for employees required to transport adult detainees. 40¢ per hour for employees holding a first aid certificate. Paid holidays: 10 days. Vacations with pay: 1 day per month worked to a maximum of 10 days to start, 2 weeks after 1 year and 3 weeks after 3 years. Overtime: Time and one-half. Sick leave: Employee must provide a doctor's note after 3 consecutive days on sick leave. If the employer detects a repetitive or abusive pattern in an employee's use of sick leave a doctor's note can be required for a single day's absence. STD: 90% of employee's salary to a maximum of 14 days. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
