(110 firefighters) and the International Association of Fire Fighters (AFL-CIO / CLC), Local 999 Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2019. Signed on April 5, 2016. Wage adjustments: Effective Dec. 27, 2015: 2.97% Effective Dec. 25, 2016: 2.97% Effective Dec. 24, 2017: 2.97% Effective Dec. 23, 2018: 2.97% Paid holidays: 11.5 days (0.5 days for Christmas Eve). Em- ployees working an average of 42 hours per week entitled to 138 hours extra per year, prorat- ed in lieu of the 11.5 statutory holidays and any days called statutory holidays by the gov- ernment. Employees working an average of 42 hours per week entitled to receive 24 hours' pay per year in lieu of 2 floating holidays. Employees entitled to 2 floating holidays or 24 hours' pay per year in lieu of 2 floating holidays. Vacations with pay: 4 shifts for 1 to 3 years; 5 shifts for 3 to 5 years; 6 shifts for 5 to 8 years; 7 shifts for 8 to 12 years; 8 shifts for 12 to 15 years; 9 shifts for 15 to 20 years; 10 shifts for 20 to 25 years; 11 shifts for 25 to 30 years; 12 shifts for 30 years and over. Employee qualifies for one-time unpaid vacation of up to 4 shifts after 20 years of ser- vice without loss of seniority. Overtime: Employees credited with time off at straight time, with a minimum of 4 hours for each occasion, for scheduled overtime beyond 42-hour week on a 24 hours-on, 72-hours-off duty basis. Time and one-half after 4 hours. Medical benefits: Cost-sharing 85% employer-paid, 15% employee-paid. If managed care prescription drug program is agreed to, cost-sharing 90% employer-paid, 10% employee- paid. Dental: Cost-sharing 85% employer-paid, 15% employee- paid. If managed care prescrip- tion drug program is agreed to, cost-sharing 90% employer- paid, 10% employee-paid. Sick leave: Employees eligible to accumulate credits at the rate of 12 hours per month, up to 3,000 hours. STD/LTD: Employer supple- ments WorkSafeNB benefit to amount allowed, without offsetting benefit payable by WorkSafeNB and as long as supplemental payment shall not increase employee's net take home pay above his regular pre- disability amount, recognizing the non-taxable status of Work- SafeNB benefits. AD&D: Spouses, dependants eligible for coverage to a maxi- mum of 50% of principal em- ployee amount for spouses and 15% of principal amount for each dependant. Life insurance: A maximum of 2 times annual salary to a maxi- mum of $200,000. Pension: Employees' pension plan. Bereavement leave: Employee entitled to 2 shifts for death of spouse, common-law spouse, child, mother, father. 1 shift for death of sister, brother, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparent, sister-in-law, brother-in-law or guardian. Seniority – recall rights: 6 months Call-in pay: Time off at time and one-half or payment at time and one-half, with a minimum of 4 hours for each callback. Probationary period: 12 months. Uniforms/clothing: $350 each year for clothing, $250 for dry cleaning and minor repairs. Sample rates of pay (current, after 2.97% increase): Probationary FF: $22.18 per hour, rising in 3 steps to $24.21 3rd class firefighter: $25.88 ris- ing in 3 steps to $28.25 2nd class FF: $27.72 rising in 3 steps to $30.27 1st class FF: $36.96 rising in 3 steps to $40.35 Lieutenant: $38.44 rising in 3 steps to $41.97 AFPO & ATO: $41.14 rising in 3 steps to $44.91 Captain: $40.66 rising in 3 steps to $44.39 FPO & TO: $43.47 rising in 3 steps to $47.46 Division chief: $46.18 rising in 3 steps to $50.42 Editor's notes: Retirement sick leave: Employees with sick leave credit shall, after 5 years of service and upon resigna- tion or death, receive 50% of the sick leave in salary up to a maximum of 120 days and upon retirement, receive 60% of the sick leave in salary up to a maximum of 125 days. Illness in the family: During illness of an immediate family member (spouse, children), employee is entitled to a maximum of 2 shifts per illness. Time off: 1 day each week. In- jured on duty: $10,000 to the estate of any firefighter who is killed or dies as result of work injuries. Service pay: Over 5 years, 1% of salary; over 10 years, 1.5%; over 15 years, 2.5%; over 20 years, 3%; over 25 years, 3.5%. Education leave: 50% of cost upon registration, 50% upon successful completion of course or program. ENTERTAINMENT AND HOSPITALITY Yukon Arts Centre Whitehorse, Yukon Territory (34 workers, administrative and support employees) and Public Service Alliance of Canada (CLC). Renewal agreement: Effec- tive April 1, 2015, to March 31, 2018. Signed on March 1, 2016. Wage adjustments: Effective April 1, 2015: 2.25% Effective April 1, 2016: 2% Effective April 1, 2017: 1.5% Paid holidays: 13 days. Vacations with pay: 1 ¼ days per month with 10 days' pay to start, 1 ½ days per month with 10 days' pay after 3 years; 1 2/3 days per month with 10 days' pay after 5 years, 2 days per month with 10 days' pay after 10 years. Maximum 5 days may be carried over to following year. One-time bonus of 5 days at 7, 10 and 15 years of continu- ous service. Overtime: Time-and-one-half for more than 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week. Double time for: hours beyond 10 con- secutive days without a day of rest; hours beyond 8 worked with less than 9 hours of rest between workdays; all hours for $350 each year for clothing, $250 for dry cleaning and minor repairs.
