(8 launchmasters) and the Canadian Merchant Service Guild Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2020. Signed on July 27, 2016. Wage adjustments: Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 1.75% Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 2% Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2% Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 2% Effective Jan. 1, 2020: 2% Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 10 hours per month to start, 13.33 hours per month after 9 years, 16.66 hours per month after 15 years, 20 hours per month after 25 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked after 40 hours per week. Time can be banked, maximum 160 hours. Meal allowance: $20 for working more than 3 hours of overtime. $20 for every 8-hour period thereafter. Sick leave: 10 hours per month. Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, stepfather, step- mother, foster parent, brother, sister, spouse, common-law spouse, person living with the employee including child, chil- dren of common-law spouse, child, stepchild, ward of the employee, father-in-law, moth- er-in-law, grandchild, relative residing in the employee's household). 1 day for death in extended family (grandparent, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law). 3 additional days for travel. Seniority – recall rights: 2 years. Call-in pay: Minimum 6 hours' pay. Probationary period: 12 months. Severance: First layoff: 2 weeks' pay for up to 10 years' service; 3 weeks' pay for up to 20 years' service; 4 weeks' pay plus 1 week for each additional year for more than 20 years' service. Maximum 28 weeks' pay. Sec- ond layoff: 1 week's pay for each year of service, maximum 27 weeks' pay. Safety shoes: $200 for CSA- approved safety footwear. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide 1 CCG-approved flotation coat (flame orange or red) or inflatable PFD (Mustang AirForce or equivalent) once every 2 years. 1 set of rain gear (yellow or orange), 1 pair rub- ber boots once every 3 years. $500 per year (previously $400) reimbursement for any working clothes. Wage adjustments: Effective March 1, 2017: 2% Effective March 1, 2018: 2% Effective March 1, 2019: 2% Shift premium: For work between midnight and 6 a.m.: $4.60 for 60 minutes, $9.20 for 120 minutes, $13.80 for 239 minutes, $23 for 240 minutes or more (previously single payment of $22.50). For work on weekends and company holidays: $6.60 for 60 minutes, $11.55 for 120 minutes, $19.80 for 239 minutes, $33 for 240 minutes or more (previously single payment of $32.50). Paid holidays: 9 days, plus 2 floater days. Vacations with pay: 1 day per month to start (maximum 12 days), 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 7.5 hours per day or 37.5 hours per week. Time can be banked, maximum 75 hours. Double time for work on second scheduled day off in the same week. Leave may be extended to maximum 5 days when funeral is held in another city. Probationary period: 12 months. On-call pay: $22.50 for each on-call duty day worked between Monday and Friday. $32.50 for each on-call duty between Saturday and Sunday or company holiday.
