Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked on Saturday, Sunday or statutory holidays. Meal allowance: Hot meal of $15 will be provided for more than 2 hours of overtime work and each subsequent 4 hours. Pension: Labourers' Pension Fund of Cen- tral and Eastern Canada. Employer con- tributes $3.50 per hour to fund. Effective July 1, 2017: $3.60 per hour. Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in im- mediate family (wife, child, mother, father). 3 days for death of brother, sister. 1 day for death in extended family (grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew). Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours' pay. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply safety helmets, rain suits, rubber boots. Tool allowance: $150 when employee's tools are damaged or destroyed by fire or lost while under employer's lock and key. Mileage: $0.35 per hour when job site is outside 35-kilometre radius of Saint John, St. Andrews, Sussex, Gagetown. Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after increase): Labourers: $18.74 rising 2 steps to $20.15 Mason helper (tender): $22.72 rising 2 steps to $23.58 Editor's notes: Termination notice: When employment is terminated, an employee will be allowed 10 minutes to col- lect tools and personal effects. Sanitary facilities: The employer will provide adequate and sanitary toilet and wash- room facilities, equipped with wash basins, soap, cloth or paper towels and supplies and whenever possible, with hot and cold water, when there are more than 5 employees at a job site. Remote jobs: When job site is more than 80 kilometres away from radius of Saint John, St. Andrews, Sussex, Gagetown, $100 per day will be given for room and board, plus travelling time, maximum 8 hours. EDUCATION Regina School Division No. 4 Regina (1,380 workers, elementary and secondary teachers) and Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2016, to June 30, 2018. Signed on Sept. 15, 2016. Vacations with pay: One day of personal leave with pay each school year. Bereavement leave: 5 teaching days for death of immediate family (spouse, partner, fiancé(e), father, mother, parent-surrogate, brother, sister, child, surrogate-child, parent-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in- law, grandchild, grandparent, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, including step-family relationships). Up to 1 full day to attend funeral of colleague, extended family mem- ber, friend, or student. Up to 5 teaching days for serious illness of immediate family member. Mileage: Teachers who use their cars for travel in curricular and extra-curricular activities or other school business receive $0.41 per kilometre. Sample rates of pay (current): Special allowances (for providing special services, paid in addition to regular salary) Program coordinator: 15% of salary Program consultant: 10% of salary Psychologist: 10% of salary Learning leader/core leader Learning leader annual allowance: $5,890 Core leader annual allowance: $4,736 Playground supervisor annual allowance (full-time): $4,970 Playground supervisor annual allowance (less than half-time)/noon-hour supervi- sor: $22.89 per hour Editor's notes: Unpaid leave: After any 7 consecutive years of service with the board, a teacher may be granted one academic year of unpaid leave of absence for any reason. Elementary school teachers allocated 240 minutes of preparation time per 5-day cycle plus an additional 1,380 minutes and 450 minutes prior to the first day of school. High school teachers allocated 285 minutes of preparation time per 5-day cycle plus 300 minutes prior to first day of school and 300 minutes at end of semester 1. Professional development fund: 0.59% of the instructional salaries line of the audited financial statement will be allocated into the fund.
