(65 health-care workers) and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 8 Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2015, to June 30, 2018. Signed on June 7, 2016. Wage adjustments: Effective first year: 2% Effective second year: 1% Effective third year: 1.5% Shift premium: Charge pre- mium: $1 per hour when senior LPN assigned to be in charge of facility. Weekend shift: $3 per hour for work between 11 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday. Evening shift: $1.50 per hour for work between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. Night shift: $2.50 per hour for work between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Paid holidays: 11 days plus 1 floater day. Each sleepover will qualify for 8 hours of seniority. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 3 weeks to start, 4 weeks after 3 years, 5 weeks after 10 years, 6 weeks after 20 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all overtime hours worked. On general holidays, time and one-half for regular hours, double time for overtime hours.
