Vacations with pay: 1 day per month after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 17 years, 6 weeks after 26 years. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 6 weeks after 24 years. Overtime: Minimum 2 hours' pay when employees called out after work day. Time and one- half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Double time after first 2 hours worked. May be banked, maxi- mum 37.5 hours. Meal allowance: Meals will be paid as per current City of Lethbridge per diem rates for charters of 6 hours or more. Pregnant female employees will be provided with maximum $200 towards purchase of maternity uniform clothing of appropriate style and colour. Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 3% increase): Operator 733P: $28.40 rising 2 steps to $29.26 Job rate (1+ year): $29.12 rising 2 steps to $30 Dispatcher 732D: $30.30 rising 2 steps to $31.22 Schedule analyst 731S: $30.30 rising 2 steps to $31.22 Editor's notes: Training: New employees who undergo training will be paid 100% of regular hourly rate of pay for classification for which they have been hired. Employees who are directed to undergo training will receive 100% of regular pay while training.
