(110 health-care aides, RPNs) and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 1 Renewal agreement: Effective Dec. 16, 2016, to Dec. 15, 2019. Signed on March 1, 2017. Wage adjustments: For RPNs Effective Dec. 16, 2016: $0.10 per hour Effective Dec. 16, 2017: $0.10 per hour Effective Dec. 16, 2018: $0.15 per hour Shift premium: $8 per shift (previously $7.50 per shift) when employer temporarily assigns employee to carry out responsibilities of employee outside bargaining unit for lon- ger than one-half of shift. $8.50 per shift (previously $8 per shift) when RN is absent and employer assigns RPN for lon- ger than one-half of shift. $1.50 per hour for new employee and training employee during ori- entation session. $0.30 per hour (previously $0.25 per hour) for each hour worked between 11 p.m. Friday and 11 p.m. Sunday. Effective Feb. 6, 2017: $0.35 per hour. Paid holidays: 9 days, plus 2 float holidays. Additional 4 days unpaid leave may be given for travel. Seniority – recall rights: 36 months. Probationary period: 450 hours worked. Ro- tating-shift employees will be paid $0.68 per hour (previously $0.66 per hour) for all hours worked during week when job being performed is scheduled on continuous operations. $0.90 per hour for employees when cleaning asphalt kettles, RF2 pan and RTO (main piping leading from RF2 to RTO unit). Lead hand will be paid $1 per hour above highest classifica- tion of roofing RF1. $0.25 per hour for steam-plant lead hand who has second-class ticket. Defibrator OP will receive $0.20 per hour on gypsum runs. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 2 weeks to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 19 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 30 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Double time after 10 hours per day. May be banked, maximum 40 hours per year. Meal allowance: $11.50 or meal up to equivalent amount if employee works 10 hours in 8-hour shift. 20-minute paid meal break if employee works more than 10 hours.
