Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 floating holiday. Vacations with pay: 3 weeks or 6% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 8% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 9% af- ter 7 years, 5 weeks or 11% after 15 years, 6 weeks or 13% after 24 years, 7 weeks or 15% after 30 years. Overtime: For shift workers, time and one-half for all work after 44 hours per week. For day workers, time and one-half for all work after 40 hours per week, all work on Sunday. Meal allowance: $15 and 30 minutes paid in lieu or meal provided. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Al- berta Health Care coverage. Dental: $2,500 for sections 1, 2 and 3 and $3,000 for section 4. 60% coverage for orthodontics. Vision: $250 per employee (previously $225) or eligible family member per 24-month period and once every 12 months for eligible dependants 18 or younger. Weekly indemnity: 70% of weekly earnings or $447 per week, whichever is greater. LTD: Employer pays 50% of pre- miums, employee pays 50% of premiums for coverage of 50% of employee's annual earnings, less offsets, from date of expiration of weekly indemnity coverage. AD&D: Coverage of $100,000. Life insurance: Coverage of $100,000. Pension: Effective Jan. 1, 2019, all employees hired/rehired after this date will be enrolled in defined contribution plan. Employer will contribute maximum 7.25%, employees will contribute maximum 6%. Employer may choose lower contribution, minimum 3%. Bereavement leave: 1 full set for death in immediate family (spouse, mother, father, broth- ers, sisters, sons, daughters, mother-in-law, father-in-law, stepparents, grandparents, great grandparents, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, stepchildren, sister-in- law, brother-in-law, grandparents- in-law, great grandparents-in- law, legal guardian). Seniority – recall rights: After 1 year of service: 1 year, plus additional month per year of service, maximum 6 months. Call-in pay: The greater of time and one-half for all hours worked or time and one-half for 4 hours. Probationary period: 90 days. Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year for disciplinary verbal and written warnings, 18 months for suspensions. Severance: 80 hours of pay per year of service, maximum 2,080 hours. Safety shoes: $200 per year for hard-toed, industrial-strength, high-top, lace-up safety boots. May be carried over to follow- ing year, maximum $400. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will make coveralls available to all employees who typically work in industrial areas and make use of coveralls on regular basis. Tool allowance: Employer will replace damaged or lost tools and toolboxes for tradesmen.
