(120 cleaners) and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), and Union of National Defence Employees (UNDE), Local 00650 Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2017, to Aug. 31, 2020. Signed on Aug. 2, 2017. Shift premium: Day shift: $1 per hour for heavy-duty clean- er; $1.50 per hour for lead hand. Night shift: $1 per hour for general-duty cleaner; $1.50 per hour for heavy-duty cleaner; $2 per hour for lead hand. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years. May be carried over into next year, maximum of what employee is entitled to. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for sin- gle coverage, employee pays $75 per month for family coverage. Dental: 80% reimbursement, maximum $2,000 per year for basic coverage, 100% reim- bursement for accidental dental injury coverage (no maximum). Vision: $200 every 24 months for eye examinations, glasses, contact lenses, laser eye sur- gery. Paramedical: $300 per year each for chiropractors, massage therapists, naturopaths, os- teopaths, psychologists/social workers, physiotherapists, po- diatrists, speech therapists. Sick leave: 2 days per year, may be accumulated maximum 10 days. Life insurance: Coverage of $10,000. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (child, spouse, father, mother, sister, brother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, stepchild, grandchildren, common-law spouse, child of common-law spouse, grandparents). Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. Probationary period: 3 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months. Safety shoes: $200 per year for heavy-duty cleaners; $100 per year for all other employees. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide all uniforms which may include may include shirts, pants, footwear. Employer will provide employees with 3 uni- form shirts per year. Mileage: Treasury Board kilo- metre rate. Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 23% increase): 0 to 3 months: $13.25 rising 3 steps to $16.25 3 months to 2 years: $13.75 ris- ing 3 steps to $17 2 to 5 years: $14.25 rising 3 steps to $17.75 5 years or more: $14.75 rising 3 steps to $18.25 Editor's notes: Safety training: Employer will assume cost of providing all employees with GHS WHMIS training. Current certificates covering GHS WHMIS will be provided. Employees will attend GHS WHMIS training without penalty. Social justice fund: Employer will pay PSAC Social Justice Fund $500 per year. Ratified on Feb. 20, 2018. Signed on Feb. 21, 2018. Paid holidays: 9 days. Vacations with pay: 6% on each paycheque. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Time and one-half for hours worked on a Sunday between midnight and 8 a.m. Double time for hours worked after 12 hours per day, 60 hours per week and all hours after 8 hours Sunday. Pension: 4% to union group RRSP on behalf of employee. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours for set-ups, put-outs or special calls. Minimum 2 hours where set-up immediately precedes performance. If put-out im- mediately follows performance and is completed within 1 hour, minimum will be 2 hours for those working both show and set-up or put-out, where appli- cable. Minimum 3.5 hours for cancelled show call, 4 hours for any other type of cancellation with minimum 24 hours' notice of cancellation. Tool allowance: IATSE crew will provide hammer, multi- driver (includes flathead, Rob- inson and Philips bits) crescent wrench and pliers. Company will advise union is additional tools such as cordless drills, multi-meters as required. Company will provide hoists, forklifts, tractors, trucks, and trailers when required. Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 2% increase): Department head 1 (includes carpenter, fly, electrical, sound, all ground riggers, wardrobe) Hourly: $33.30 rising 2 steps to $33.96 Show calls: $116.53 rising 2 steps to $118.87 Crew 2 (includes forklift) Hourly: $30.75 rising 2 steps to $31.37 Show calls: $107.64 rising 2 steps to $109.80 Spotlights Hourly: $31.26 rising 2 steps to $31.89 Show calls: $109.41 rising 2 steps to $111.61 High rigger Hourly: $39.12 rising 2 steps to $39.90 Personnel lift operators (during Stampede time): $31.75 rising 2 steps to $32.39 Editor's notes: Liability insurance: Union must maintain directors' and officers' general liability insurance of at least $3 million.
