Wage adjustments: Effective 2017: 2% Effective 2018: 2% Effective 2019: 1.5% Shift premium: $0.95 per hour (previously $0.90 per hour) for all hours worked on shift desig- nated as second or afternoon shift. $1.20 per hour (previously $1.15 per hour) for all hours worked on shift designated as third or night shift. $2.25 per hour for all hours worked on regularly scheduled shift start- ing between 7:59 p.m. Friday and 7:59 p.m. Sunday. $1.75 per hour for employees engaged in site work. $0.75 per hour for lead-hands. $1 for employees holding R.S.O. certificate. Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 2 floaters. Vacations with pay: 1 week or 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6.12% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8.33% after 12 years, 5 weeks or 10.64% after 16 years, 6 weeks or 13.04% after 25 years, 6 weeks or 14% after 30 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work in excess of regular hours per day or 40 hours per week or any work on Saturday. Double time for all work on Sunday. May be banked, max- imum 40 hours. Meal allowance: $8.50 to em- ployee who works more than 12 hours in 1 shift. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for maximum $4,000 per year drug plan, maximum $10,000 per year for charges for most med- ical services and supplies not covered by OHIP. Vision: $375 every 2 years per family members for frames, prescribed glasses, contact lenses. STD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for maximum 26 weeks' coverage, for 65% of weekly pay. LTD: 60% of standard hourly rate times 40 hours, maximum 5 years, maximum $2,000 per month. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $80,000 (previously $75,000) Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $80,000 (previously $75,000). Pension: DB plan for currently covered employees open for 10 years after ratification. Em- ployees hired after ratification will be offered DC plan, with employer matching employee contributions, maximum 4%. Bereavement leave: 5 days (previously 4 days) for death in immediate family (wife, hus- band, children, father, mother, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, stepfather, step- mother, stepchild, grandparent, grandchild). 2 days for death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law. 1 day for death of spouse's grand- parent. 1 day to attend funerals of uncles, aunts. Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours' work or 4 hours' pay at overtime rate. Probationary period: 60 worked days. Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months. Safety shoes: $185 per year (previously $180 per year) for safety boots that are fitted with built-in metatarsal guards. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide disposable cover- alls to maintenance or other employees when required to work in excessively dirty con- ditions, Tool allowance: Tradesper- sons, who are required by employer to provide own hand tools, will be compensated for hand tools broken or worn out in company service.
