Signed on Aug. 1, 2017. Wage adjustments: Effective April 1, 2018: 3% Shift premium: 108% of basic hourly rate for evening shift. 110% of basic hourly rate for night shift. Employees whose regular work week includes Saturday, Sunday will be paid an additional 1.2 hours' wages for Saturday and 2.4 hours' wages for Sunday. Paid holidays: 9 days, plus 6 float days. Vacations with pay: 5/6 days per month to start, 1 1/4 days per month after 2 years, 1 2/3 days per month after 9 years, 2 1/12 days per month after 19 years. 1 1/4 days per MDA- accounting month after 9 years for employees in classifications of engineer, senior engineer, staff engineer, senior staff en- gineer and equivalents and in equivalent allied technical clas- sifications. Overtime: 150% after 2 1/2 hours of overtime after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. 150% for work on sixth day of week, normally Saturday, and Sunday unless employee has worked on sixth day that week and pay will be 200%. 150% for work during irregular hours. May be banked, maximum 40 hours. Exception will be made if employee works more than 200 hours' overtime in 6 con- secutive months. In this case, employee will be entitled to exchange maximum 40 hours' overtime in 6-month period and maximum 40 hours for bal- ance of year. Sick leave: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days per 12-month period. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, and all of following, employee's or spouse's: parents, stepparents, guardian (pro- vided guardian acted in place of parent), children, stepchil- dren, children in guardianship, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandchildren, relatives resid- ing in employee's household). Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours' pay at appropriate overtime rate. Probationary period: 3 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years. Domestic field allowance: When employee is on domestic field assignment, dislocation allowance equal to 10 per cent of employee's base pay will be paid. Field allowance: When employee is on field assignment, allowance equal to 10 per cent of employee's base pay will be paid.
