Signed on April 4, 2018. Wage adjustments: Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2% Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 2% Effective Jan. 1, 2020: 2% Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for all hours worked after 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and on Satur- day, Sunday. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 3 weeks af- ter 1 year, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 13 years, 6 weeks after 20 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 7 hours per day, double time after 8 hours per day or for all hours worked on Sunday. Time and one-half for all work after 35 hours per week, double time for all work after 40 hours per week. May be taken as time off in lieu with 3 months of date work was per- formed. For van drivers: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Double time after 9 hours per day or 45 hours per week. Medical benefits: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employ- ee pays 20% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. 80% for basic den- tal services. 60% for prosthetics, crowns, bridges. $3,000 lifetime limit for orthodontics. Vision: $550 every 24 months. Sick leave: 1 1/2 days per month of service, maximum 150 days. Life insurance: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums for coverage of 2-times annual sal- ary, minimum $10,000. Pension: Great West Life Pen- sion Plan. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse/partner which includes traditional, same-sex and com- mon-law; child which includes adopted and foster; parents, parent-in-laws, guardians, sib- lings, grandchildren, grandpar- ents). 3 days for death of close friend, brother-in-law, sister- in-law. 1 day to attend funeral as pallbearer. 1 day for death of close relative other than those defined. Unpaid extension of leave, maximum 2 weeks total leave, may be given. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. Call-in pay: 2 hours minimum pay at time and one-half or double time. Probationary period: 3 months for full-time employ- ees, 6 months for part-time, page employees, 910 hours for auxiliary employees. Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months. Severance: 2 weeks' pay after 6 months of service; 1 week per year of service, maximum 8 weeks', after 3 years of service. Safety shoes: $100 per year for steel-toed boots for van drivers. Mileage: Remuneration at same rate as Okanagan Region- al Library Board members.
