Dental: For Global BC: Em- ployer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of pre- miums. 80% for basic services. 50% for full upper and lower dentures, maximum $2,000 per year. 75% for major restorative, maximum $2,000 per year. 50% for orthodontic services for adults, dependent children, maximum $2,500 per lifetime. Sick leave: 1 1/2 days for every 173 hours worked. STD: 1 1/2 days per month, maximum 119 days. LTD: For Global BC: Employee pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 60% of monthly earnings, payable after 119 days to age 65 if totally disabled. AD&D: For Global BC: Em- ployee pays 100% of premiums for coverage of maximum $500,000. Life insurance: For Global BC: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for coverage of 3-times annual salary. Pension: Company pension plan will continue to be made available to all employees on voluntary basis. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (legal guardian, husband, wife, common-law spouse, same-sex spouse, child, stepchild, par- ent, stepparent, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, common-law spouse's immedi- ate family, grandparents, grand- children). 2 additional days for travel, if required. Seniority – recall rights: 1 year. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours' pay at time and one-half. Probationary period: 6 months for full-time, 1,040 hours worked for part-time. Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply protective clothing, safety footwear, safety device equipment for employees on assignments (remotes, towers) where conditions require use. Clothing and grooming allow- ance: Minimum $1,500 per year for regular anchor persons, weather broadcasters, public af- fairs persons; minimum $1,000 per year for regular reporters, other performers.
