Signed on Feb. 5, 2017. Shift premium: $1 per hour multi-skilling bonus. 105% of journeyman base rate for lead- hand. 115% of journeyman rate for foreman. 125% of journey- man rate for general foreman. $3 per hour for chief steward. $2 per hour for steward. $0.50 per hour for first-aid ticket with CPR, leadership for safety excellence. $1.25 per hour for construction safety officer. Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 2 weeks or 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 8 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 15 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 22 years, 7 weeks or 14% after 28 years. Medical benefits: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for Ontario Hospital Insurance Plan (OHIP). Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for group dental plan (equivalent to Blue Cross #9). Vision: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for coverage of $250 per person every 2 years (previously $185 every 2 years). Sick leave: 7.5 hours for every 162.5 hours paid, maximum 105 hours. Life insurance: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for coverage of $30,000. Pension: Employer contributes 4%, employee contributes 4% to Nursing Homes and Related lndustries Pension Plan. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, child, step- child. 3 days for death of moth- er, father, stepparents, mother- in-law, father-in-law, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in- law, legal guardian, grandpar- ent, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew. Additional 4 days unpaid leave for travel. Seniority - recall rights: 36 months. Probationary period: 450 hours worked or 12 months, whichever occurs first. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
