Signed on July 23, 2018. Wage adjustments: Effective date of ratification: 2.5% Effective Sept. 1, 2018: 2% Effective Sept. 1, 2019: 2% Effective Sept. 1, 2020: 2% Shift premium: $50 per pay for senior employees in depart- ment who are responsible for establishing schedule for group of employees. 10% of regular hourly rate for hours scheduled as training. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 5/6 day per month or 4% to start, 20 days or 8% after 12 months, 25 days or 10% after 84 months. Overtime: Time and one-half for work beyond daily sched- ule. Double time for work after 12 hours per day for technical employees; 11.5 hours per day for office, on-air employ- ees. Double time (minimum 4 hours) for work on day off. Time and one-half, minimum guaranteed credit of daily work schedule after 4 hours of work. May be banked as time off in lieu, must be taken within year or will be paid out. Meal allowance: $10 for first 2 hours of overtime, $10 for each subsequent 6-hour period. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Paramedical: $21 per visit for chiropractor. Sick leave: 12 days per year. Employees will be reimbursed 50% of unused balance. Pension: Employer will match 100% of basic group RRSP con- tribution, maximum 4% (pre- viously 3.5%). Effective Sept. 1, 2019: 4.5%. Effective Sept. 1, 2020: 5%. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (legal guardian, spouse, common-law husband, common-law wife, father, mother, brother, sister, child). 2 additional days for special circumstances. 2 days for death of mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandmother, grandfather. Seniority – recall rights: 90 days if less than 1 year of ser- vice; 270 days with 1 year of service; 365 days after 5 years of service. Probationary period: 3 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for notice of repri- mands, suspensions. Severance: 1 week's pay per year of service after 1 year of service; 1 week's pay per 6 months of service after 7 years of service. Minimum 4 weeks' pay, maximum 26 week's pay. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply protective clothing, safety devices for employees on assignment (remotes from mobile units, towers), where required. For employees who do not require overnight accommo- dation: $15 for breakfast (previously $8); $20 for lunch (previously $15); $30 for dinner (previously $17); $20 for sub- sequent meals (previously $15). Taxi reimbursements: Maximum $29. Paid education leave: Employer will pay $500 into Unifor paid education leave program. Remotes: Minimum $350 for all commercial remotes of 4 hours for announcers or announcer-operators.
